Pat McAfee’s ESPN crew fires shots at him over his ‘burn the sage’ question days after his in-studio controversy

Pat McAfee’s recent in-studio actions have led to talks even on ESPN’s College Gameday show with Kirk Herbstreit and former Alabama coach Nick Saban taking their turns to fire shots at him.
The ESPN analyst was caught smoking marijuana live during his appearance on ESPN.
Since then, many have given their opinion on the former NFL star and spoken on the freedom he has on a platform like ESPN.
According to reports, he is in the middle of contract negotiations with ESPN that will see him earn over $60 million annually.
He is also one of the faces on ESPN’s College Gameday crew, and as part of that was speaking to coach Nick Saban when he was brutally trolled by him and fellow analyst Kirk Herbstreit.
McAfee’s trolled by fellow crew members
McAfee was being his usual self talking to the panel, and posed a question to Saban.
He asked, “Coach, have you ever used any, like, ancient medicine to potentially calm the boys? Like, maybe burn some sage?”
This led to an instant witty response from Herbstreit, who said, “You do that in the studio.”
Even Saban did not leave a chance to poke fun at McAfee. He said, “I actually think if we had some of your gummies, we would have won more games.”
Saban’s remarks are in reference to McAfee’s revelation from years ago about having 30 edible gummies on his way to London for the NFL game.
