Penn State Commits in Action: NJ Athlete Continues to Shine

Well, things are not going very well for current Penn State football players. Let’s take a look to the future and check in on some of the players who could shape the Nittany Lions’ roster in years to come.

Three-star defensive lineman Carter Blattner hit double-digit tackles in a huge win for Northern Highlands (NJ) as the Highlanders earned their first win over rival Ramapo (NJ) since 2022. Blattner finished the game with 13 tackles, two sacks, and two TFLs, including a late-game sack that helped ice the 27-17 victory.

Blattner is currently considered a top-10 player from New Jersey and a top-50 defensive lineman in the Class of 2027.

Quarterback commit Will Wood is continuing to have an impressive season for Xaverian Brothers. The Massachusetts native threw for 270 yards and five passing touchdowns in last week’s barn-burning loss to Central Catholic (Ma.).

Wood also scored on the ground from 45 yards out thanks to a designed QB run and some quick evasive maneuvers along the line of scrimmage.

New Jersey athlete Ka’ron Ceaser continues to punch above his weight as a three-star, this time having a monster offensive game for Winslow (NJ). Ceaser stepped into the running back role due to some injuries on the depth chart and immediately impressed. He scored twice and rushed for more than 100 yards.

Four-star tight end Cooper Terwilliger has helped lead T.F. Riggs (SD) to a 6-0 start, and he now has midseason tape up to prove it. He’s now caught 18 passes for 270 yards and has scored three times, often being used as a running back in goal-line situations.
