Predicting Week 5 Big Ten Football Game Times

It was announced last Monday that Illinois’ Week 4 game will be featured on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 26. The Illini will return home in Week 5 to host Purdue for this year’s Homecoming game.

Purdue is a much less challenging opponent than Ohio State, so I do not expect this game to land in one of the prime-time slots. However, I have provided my full Big Ten predictions for Week 5, including projected game times and networks.

There will be eight Big Ten games in Week 5, with one taking place on Friday. That game has already been announced for FOX, as is typically the case with Friday night games. The rest of the slate will be carried across FOX, FS1, NBC, CBS and the Big Ten Network.

Friday, October 2 (Already Announced)

Penn State at Northwestern — 7:00 p.m. on FOX

Saturday, October 3 (All Times CT)

Ohio State at Iowa — 11:00 a.m. on FOX (Big Noon Kickoff)

Michigan State at Wisconsin — 11:30 a.m. on Big Ten Network

Michigan at Minnesota — 2:30 p.m. on CBS

Purdue at Illinois — 3:00 p.m. on FS1

Maryland at Nebraska — 3:15 p.m. on Big Ten Network

Washington at USC — 6:30 p.m. on NBC

Indiana at Rutgers — 7:00 p.m. on Big Ten Network
