Penn State football will have a completely overhauled roster to get to know in 2026 under new head coach Matt Campbell. Following one of the most active offseasons in recent memory for Penn State with a flurry of activity in the transfer portal, fans will have a lot of catching up to do in getting to know this year's Penn State roster. Recruiting Rankings

Class of 2022: No recruiting rankings available

Blaise Sokach-Minnick was not extended a scholarship offer from Penn State in the Class of 2022 recruiting process, but he enrolled at Penn State anyway with an opportunity to be in the program as a walk-on player. Other schools Sokach-Minnick visited in his recruiting process included Stanford, Oregon State, Boston College, and Pittsburgh. He enrolled at Penn State in June 2022 and joined the roster as a reserve long snapper.

Career Stats

Blaise Sokach-Minnick redshirted his true freshman season of 2022 and has appeared in a total of six games as a reserve long snapper with two appearances in each of the previous three seasons. He has not started a game for Penn State entering the 2026 season. But that is about to change.

Depth Chart Overview

There is nobody standing in Sokach-Minnick's path to being the primary long snapper for Penn State in 2026. Sokach-Minnick sat behind steady long snappers Tyler Duzansky and Chris Stoll for the past four seasons, but he will be the top guy for the job in 2026 as the only long snapper listed on the team roster with any in-game experience. The only other long snapper on the roster is redshirt sophomore Andrew Dufault, who will be projected to take on the role in 2027 after Sokach-Minnick's eligibility expires.

Blaise Sokach-Minnick was a four-year letterwinner in track and field in high school and finished second at districts in the javelin in 2020. He also has two brothers who played football at the University of Albany.
