Record projections for Tennessee's 2026 football opponents

The 2026 football season is approaching for Southeastern Conference teams. The unofficial kick off to the season will take place July 20-23 with SEC media days at JW Marriott and Tampa Marriott Water Street in Tampa, Florida.

The season will officially kick off for SEC teams on Sept. 3 in Week 1.

Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football campaign on Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is slated for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).

The Vols will also host Kennesaw State, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and LSU, while playing at Georgia Tech, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt during the 2026 campaign.

Ahead of the season, ESPN Football Power Index released win-loss record projections for FBS schools. Tennessee’s record projection is 7.3-4.7.

Below are record projections for the Vols’ opponents in 2026. FCS opponent Furman is not included.
