Since taking the job, he has upgraded the roster, landed some top 2027 recruits, and made news for his comments at SEC Media Days.

There's positivity around the Kentucky football program, and a buzz that has been missing. However, for the SEC media, it's still "show me things have changed". On Friday, the media's predictions for the conference's standings were released, and the Wildcats are predicted to finish 14th overall. That's head of only Mississippi State and Arkansas.

The SEC is always a difficult conference to compete in, and there are a large number of elite programs from year to year.
