SEC shares initial availability report for Auburn vs Vanderbilt

The Auburn Tigers appear to be relatively healthy ahead of Saturday's SEC contest against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The initial SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report for Auburn, released Wednesday, shows a pair of offensive linemen and a tight end. Offensive lineman Tai Buster is still dealing with a foot injury and has been ruled out for Week 4. Tight end Hunter Herring has been bumped up to "questionable" after missing Week 3's game against Florida. Finally, offensive lineman Jack Leyrer has been included in this week's report. He is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt. According to the SEC, a "questionable" ruling means that it is uncertain if the player will be cleared to compete in Saturday's game due to injury or condition.
Leyrer is the most notable name on Auburn's availability report with 44 snaps played in Auburn's first two games. He most recently played 44 snaps at left guard for the Tigers in their Week 2 win over Southern Miss at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Herring logged one catch for 14 yards in the same game, and Buster has yet to play a snap this season.
Vanderbilt's report is much more extensive. Four defensive players have been ruled out for the game: Jaylin Lackey, Jamison Curtis, Aaron Bryant, and Nikhil Jefferson. Tight end Cole Spence is listed as questionable, and edge rusher Brian Allen Jr. is probable for the game at Auburn.
SEC teams are required to submit availability reports three days before each football game, with daily updates leading to a final report 90 minutes prior to game time, according to the Southeastern Conference. Teams that provide false injury information in the availability report can be fined $25,000-$100,000.
The updated SEC Availability Report for Auburn and Vanderbilt will be released at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, with the final report becoming available at 1:45 p.m. CT on Saturday.
