As the BYU Cougars football team prepares for the 2026 season, a new round of enhanced game day experiences has dropped.
The school is offering add-ons for the ultimate BYU fan. You can experience a trip to LaVell Edwards Stadium better than the normal fan with excursions such as a pregame photo on the field, joining the cougar walk or having Cosmo the Cougar come to your seat. These are just the basics, but the cost might leave you in shock.
Keep in mind, prices vary throughout the season and become more expensive with a higher-tier game. If you would like to have a meal in the press box before the Notre Dame game on October 17th, the cost is a whopping $802 per person. The price is the lowest for the season opener against Utah Tech at $268 per person.
If you somehow don't have an appetite for food served to the media, maybe an in-seat visit from Cosmo would be the best option. For the low price of $3,203, the fun and furry Cougar mascot will give you a special game day experience right from the comfort of your seats during the marquee Notre Dame match-up.
Just like the fine dining in the press box, the Utah Tech opener is Cosmo's cheapest availability at $1,068. The price goes up to $1,602 for any of BYU's five Big 12 games throughout the season.
If you're not hungry or you don't like hanging out with furries, BYU has other experiences to enjoy. If you would like to be on the sideline for the 3rd quarter break against Notre Dame, expect to hand over $1,602 per person.

One of the cheapest things on the menu is a birthday or anniversary video board message at $161 for Notre Dame and only $55 for Utah Tech. Obviously, BYU is trying to maximize the entire experience for fans who want to be close to the action.
As you can imagine, not everybody finds this so fan-friendly on social media. Many people have come away with sticker shock for everything BYU is offering. For instance, a photo opportunity in the locker room and media room for Notre Dame is $642. Two places that fans should never have access to are being offered at a premium. If you want to save a little bit of money, you can have your picture taken on the field for $482.
Once again, the prices vary depending on the contest. But who is spending over $3,000 for a 5-minute meet and greet at your seat with Cosmo? For that grand total, you too might be able to have your own Cougar costume to entertain at birthday parties.

The Cougars are two weeks away from opening the season against Utah Tech on Saturday, Sept. 5.
