The LSU Tigers have a tough matchup on the docket for this weekend, heading on the road to take on an annoyed and confident Kentucky Wildcats squad.

As with any SEC game, the Tigers cannot afford to take the Wildcats lightly, despite being over a touchdown favorite. Kentucky is riding a three-game win streak and Will Stein has his team ready to play.

LSU has the talent and athleticism to keep up with anyone, though, so it'll be tough for the Wildcats as well. Here are the Kentucky players that the Tigers need to pay the most attention to on Saturday:

RBs CJ Baxter and Jason Patterson

With Patterson off the injury report, it looks like the Wildcats will have their two-headed running back duo. They are each averaging over 70 yards per games on the ground.

Baxter is a former five-star and was the top back in his class. He had a strong freshman campaign, but injuries derailed his career with the Texas Longhorns so he came to Kentucky and is thriving once again. He has 68 carries for 361 yards and six touchdowns.

Patterson is an excellent compliment to what Baxter does. He is an explosive back that is hard to bring down. He only has 45 carries, but has picked up almost 8 yards per carry for 355 total yards and three scores.

DE Mi'Quise Humphrey-Grace

Humphrey-Grace has been the Wildcats' most productive pass rusher with 15 total pressures so far. He has the team lead for sacks with 2.5. He has 14 total tackles.

He is big for a college defensive end at 6-foot-4, 271, but he is plenty athletic. He batted a pass against the Alabama Crimson Tide that he then caught and was able to dive a couple of yards for a touchdown. It could be a fun matchup watching him against Jordan Seaton.

WR Kenny Darby

Darby's story will certainly be brought up on the broadcast. He is a freshman who was a four-star in last year's class out of Louisiana. He was originally committed to LSU and was going to play for Lane Kiffin, but flipped to Kentucky last December.

He has been the best weapon for Kenny Minchey and the passing offense with 25 catches, 322 yards and three touchdowns. All of those are at least tied for the team lead. Darby is a former track star, so that speed should be taken note of.
