Tennessee offers 2028 offensive lineman after Texas football game

Tennessee (3-1, 0-1 SEC) suffered its first loss of the 2026 football season in Week 4 against top-ranked Texas (4-0, 1-0 SEC). The Vols were defeated, 20-17, at Neyland Stadium.

2028 offensive line prospect Jakai Bickham visited Neyland Stadium for the Tennessee-Texas game. He received a scholarship offer from the Vols after the contest.

"After a great game day visit and conversation, I am blessed to receive a D1 offer from the University of Tennessee," Bickham announced after the game.
\n
The 6-foot-6, 265-pound offensive tackle is from Columbia High School in Decatur, Georgia.
\n
He has received scholarship offers from the Vols, Kentucky, Liberty, South Florida, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State and Florida State.
\n
Tennessee will next play Saturday against Auburn at Neyland Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT. The SEC matchup will be televised by ESPN.

The Vols are ranked No. 17 in the Week 5 US LBM Coaches Poll.
