Tennessee reveals new Adidas football uniforms that the Vols win wear at home in 2026

The apparel that the Vols will be wearing when they trot out onto the Neyland Stadium surface this fall is now on display for all to see.

Tennessee finally made a big move this month that had been in the works for a while, switching back over to Adidas from Nike across all sports.

It was a no brainer of a move. Adidas and the university reached a ten-year agreement in which the global apparel giant would contribute to NIL funds of various athletic programs as part of the deal. It’s a return to the familiar brand that equipped Tennessee athletics from 1995 to 2015, after which the program pivoted to Nike.

But the question on the minds of many Tennessee fans is: what will the football uniforms look like? Will they be totally changed? Will they look substantially different than what Tennessee has been using during the Nike era?

Well, the answer to that is a resounding no.

Tennessee unveiled their new home uniforms on social media on Monday morning, and the look is largely the same from what we’ve been seeing from Tennessee in recent years.

The Vols will be going with white pants with orange stripes on the side and the power T on the hip. The jersey is simple, with the SEC and Adidas logos on the shoulders and a small power T below the neckline.

The numerals are the only significant/noticeable difference from previous designs, and frankly, the bigger, more block numbers stand out better than the slimmer ones did from the Nike uniforms.

For fans who prefer simplicity and/or have been good with the uniforms in recent years, this reveal should be a welcome one. Of course, how a team plays in said uniforms matters more. We’ll find out in September if the Vols can make a good early impression in those outfits.
