No. 18 Tennessee (1-0) will play its first road game of the 2026 football season in Week 2. The Vols will travel to Georgia Tech (0-1) on Saturday.
Kickoff between the Vols and Yellow Jackets is slated for 7 p.m. EDT at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. ESPN will televise the contest between the two former SEC rivals.
Saturday's meeting will mark the 44th meeting in the all-time series. Tennessee has a 25-17-2 record against Georgia Tech.
The Vols are 11-13 in games contested at Georgia Tech.
Anthony Hancock recorded the most receiving yards (128) for a Tennessee wide receiver against Georgia Tech all time. He totaled 128 receiving yards in the Vols', 23-10, victory at Georgia Tech in 1980.
In 1984, Tennessee quarterback Tony Robinson totaled 223 passing yards, the most by a signal-caller against the Yellow Jackets, in a, 24-21, victory in Atlanta.
Knoxville Central High School graduate Reggie Cobb recorded the most rushing yards (140) for a Vol against Georgia Tech in a, 29-15, victory at Neyland Stadium in 1987.
