Texas A&M has offered rising 2028 4-star TE out of Tennessee

Texas A&M's 2026 season is the primary focus for third-year coach Mike Elko and his staff, but so are the 2027, 2028, and 2029 recruiting cycles, as the Aggies are currently hosting 150 prospects from all three classes, including five of A&M's six five-star commitments in the No. 1-ranked 2027 class.

Last week, it was revealed that Mike Elko and new tight ends coach Derek Shay fielded an offer to 2028 four-star tight end Gregory Kirwan out of Tennessee, who stands 6'5" and 232 pounds, already receiving over 20 offers from several SEC programs, and, like most of the up-and-coming tight ends in future recruiting cycles, Kirwan posessing the size, soft hands, and athleticism to become a go-to target on short and intermediate passes.

Based on his film, Kirwan is one of Lipscom Academy's top receivers who consistently possesses a size advantage and is also an established blocker, which is mandatory for every Texas A&M tight end recruiting target. Entering the 2026 season, A&M's tight end future is unknown, as freshman Evan Jacobson and redshirt freshman Kiotti Armstrong are expected to enter the 2027 offseason as the top two options.

Kirwan is a two-sport athlete and also plays basketball, which makes him highly desirable for every coaching staff looking to develop tight end prospects with the trajectory to become big receiving targets who open up the passing game and put more pressure on opposing defenses.

According to Rivals, Kirwan is currently positioned as the 20th-ranked tight end prospect in Tennessee.
