Top 2027 shooting guard reportedly schedules visit to Alabama

According to Rivals' Joe Tipton, talented guard prospect RJ Moore has reportedly scheduled an official visit with the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Moore's visit to Tuscaloosa is set for Sept. 25-27, per Tipton, the same weekend Alabama will host South Carolina in football. Moore has also scheduled visits to both Rutgers and Vanderbilt, and does not have a commitment date set currently.

The talented guard is currently ranked as the nation's No. 41 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting cycle, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Rated as a four-star recruit, Moore is also considered the No. 3 shooting guard in the nation, as well as the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina where he attends Ambassador Christian School.

Alabama does not currently have a player committed in its' 2027 class. The Crimson Tide's 2026 class was among the nation's best, ranking No. 6 nationally with five commitments, per 247Sports.
