Now a little over a year since the shocking Week 1 upset in Tallahassee, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida State Seminoles are set to meet once again this Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa.
One of the most anticipated games on Alabama's schedule, Florida State will be making their first trip to Tuscaloosa since the 1974 season. Florida State has also won two of the last three in the series dating back to 2007, including a 31-17 win a year ago in Tallahassee.
This season's Seminoles roster also features a number of players off that same 2025 team which defeated Alabama, a number of which saw significant action against the Crimson Tide.
Here are five Seminoles to know ahead of Saturday's rematch between Alabama and Florida State in Tuscaloosa.
Ousmane Kromah, Running Back
Kromah currently ranks among the top rushers in the ACC, racking up 231 yards and two touchdowns on 36 carries so far this season with an average of 6.4 yards per attempt, while also catching two passes for 16 yards. Kromah, a sophomore, saw action against Alabama a year ago in his collegiate debut, rushing for 31 yards on seven attempts.
Samuel Singleton Jr., Running Back
Kromah is not the only Florida State running back to know entering Saturday's game, as Singleton has also made a big impact for the Seminoles this fall by rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown on 16 attempts. The senior, who did not see much action against Alabama last fall, has also made a huge impact in the receiving game with six catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns, and is also the Seminoles' top kick returner.
Duce Robinson, Wide Receiver
Robinson, a senior wide receiver, is arguably the most talented overall player on the Seminoles' roster, and has five receptions for 75 yards so far this season. The wideout had two receptions for 18 yards against Alabama last fall.
Ashton Daniels, Quarterback
A player Alabama faced a year ago in the Iron Bowl at Auburn, Daniels is now Florida State's starter at quarterback where the fifth-year senior is currently completing 58% of passes for 327 yards and a 2:1 TD:INT ratio. Daniels has also rushed for 101 yards and two scores on 24 attempts this season, and against Alabama a year ago completed 18-of-39 passes for 259 yards, a touchdown, and an interception, while also rushing for 108 yards on 23 attempts.
Ashlynd Barker, Defensive Back
The Seminoles' final name to know comes defensively in Barker, a fifth-year senior defensive back who is currently tied for the Florida State lead with 15 tackles alongside Chris Jones. Barker also has 0.5 TFL and one interception this season, and against Alabama last season, had three tackles and a career-high two pass defenses.
