The Southeastern Conference announced its Coaches Preseason All-SEC teams on Wednesday, with three Florida football players named to the prestigious honor.

Junior running back Jadan Baugh was named to the second team as a running back and is joined by sophomore wide receiver Vernell Brown III, who was included as a third-team return specialist, and sophomore defensive lineman Jayden Woods, who was named to the third team as an edge defender.

Baugh enters the 2026 campaign on CBS Sports' and ESPN's All-American First Team as well as The Athletic's All-SEC First Team, while also being named to the Maxwell Award, Doak Walker Award and Paul Hornung Award preseason watch lists. The Atlanta, Georgia, native is coming off an impressive sophomore campaign that saw him start all 12 games for the Gators and rush for 1,170 yards and eight touchdowns on 220 carries — all of which led the Gators — along with 31 receptions for 185 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Brown served as the Gators' primary punt and kick returner for most of the 2025 season, earning Freshman All-SEC honors at wide receiver, all-purpose and return specialist for his efforts. Last fall, the Gainesville, Florida, native led the team with 40 receptions for 512 yards, becoming the first true freshman in program history to lead the team in catches and receiving yards, while tallying 261 return yards across 18 kick and punt returns, making him one of two freshmen and 18 players in the FBS to have five punt returns of 20-plus yards.

Woods led the team in sacks with three and a half and was third in tackles-for-a-loss with five, while posting 28 total tackles, an interception, a pass breakup, two quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery in 2025. The Shawnee, Kansas, native posted a team-high PFF defense grade in multiple games last season and his 10.6% QB pressure rate led the team, while 18 of his 28 total tackles were deemed stops by PFF, which are tackles that constitute a failed play for the offense.
