UNC will unveil new permanent Hall of Fame areas in Kenan Stadium on Saturday in conjunction with Carolina’s home game against Notre Dame. Twelve people will be memorialized with new displays going up in two different area of Kenan Stadium.

The northeast corner of the stadium will feature UNC’s College Football Hall of Fame honorees. A total of ten names will be listed on the wall including three former UNC head coaches. On the southeast corner, the UNC players that have gone on to make an impact in their pro careers will be honored. This section will feature three former Tar Heels whose NFL career accomplishments earned them placement on UNC’s Pro Football Hall of Fame wall. If you’re thinking that that makes 13 people, it’s because Julius Peppers is (quite rightly) featured in both areas.

Several festivities are being planned around the new display’s dedication. All Hall of Famers are invited to attend the game as well as a welcome reception on Friday night. The sign unveilings and dedications will take place during the first half of the Notre Dame game.

The Hall of Fame players are below, with their induction date noted beside them:
