There are many contributing factors to success in today's college football landscape. The Indiana Hoosiers won the national championship last season, with experience being one of their biggest assets. Lincoln Riley and the USCTrojans are hoping their immense experience this season on both sides of the ball will contribute to similar success.
In a recent tweet, OnSI Reporter Olivia Cleary spotlights Lincoln Riley's thoughts on his roster this season. Here is what he had to say:
“We have one of the most experienced groups in the country in terms of returning starters, returning a starting quarterback, both starting running backs, and an offensive line and defensive line that I think have depth and talent unlike any of my first four years at USC.”
The most important trait in a championship team in college football is experience. Continuity matters, and the Trojans have a ton of that on both sides of the ball. Mix in some talented newcomers and some transfers that should make an immediate impact. The Trojans' roster this upcoming season should make them a quality team and a force this season in the Big Ten. Lincoln Riley has the utmost confidence in his team this upcoming year.
