As the Washington Huskies continue to push for one of the most coveted wide receivers in the 2027 class, four-star Tre Moore, position coach Kevin Cummings is also keeping a close eye on 2028 prospects.

Four-star Carter St. Junious, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound product of Manvel High School in the Lone Star State, reported an offer from the Huskies as Jedd Fisch’s staff continues to try to build endroads outside of Washington’s normal recruiting footprint.

Ranked as the No. 142 overall prospect and No. 17 wide receiver in the 2028 class by the 247Sports Composite, St. Junious holds 27 offers and has a chance to go anywhere in the country as Florida State, LSU, Miami, Oregon, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and more push for his pledge.

On film, St. Junious, whose father, Tasmin Mitchell, played basketball at LSU, where he’s now part of coach Will Wade’s staff, displays impressive ball-tracking abilities as well as the desired strength and athleticism to win contested catches. His big frame also allows him to effectively wall off and box out defenders in the red zone.

After recording 40 catches for 585 yards and 5 touchdowns during his sophomore year, St. Junious, who was also clocked at a 22.85 personal best in the 200-meter dash, will be looking to build on that production and Washington, which has had a lot of success recruiting wide receivers under Fisch and Cummings, should be keeping a close eye on him.

The Huskies currently hold two commits in the 2027 class from four-stars Braylon Pope and Zerek Sidney, while Moore and four-stars Osani Gayles, Dontay Tyson, and Zion White have all set official visits to Seattle for May and June.
