So far, the Houston Texans’ preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers has been all about defense. First, the Texans had a sack on Carolina’s opening drive to force a three-and-out.

Then in the second quarter, new safety George Odum picked off new quarterback Kyle Trask.

Odum got the interception at the Carolina 44-yard line and returned it all the way to the 28-yard line to set up a 38-yard field goal for Houston. The field goal was the first points of the game for either team and it gave the Texans a 3-0 lead with about nine minutes left in the first half.

The Texans are lookign to win their first preseason game of the season.
