We're in the process of selecting the 2025 lohud Westchester/Putnam Football All-Stars and will be announcing our pick for player of the year in the days ahead. In the meantime, we're asking you to single out the biggest impact player from this past season and we'll publish the readers' choice winner along with our own selection.
There are three finalists. Check out what they got done in between the lines and vote. The poll closes Monday, Dec. 22 at 3 p.m.
Brian Formato, Bronxville
The senior running back carried 208 times for 2,255 yards and 37 touchdowns for the Broncos, who went 12-0 and won the Class C state championship. He also caught five passes for 223 yards and three TDs and returned a pair of punts for scores, giving him a share of the Section 1 single-season touchdown mark with 42 trips to the end zone.
Carson Miller, Rye
The senior quarterback completed 76.1% of his attempts, establishing Section 1 single-season passing records with 3,545 yards and 38 touchdowns. He ran for 963 yards and 12 touchdowns, leading the 14-0 Garnets to a Class A state championship.
Brayden Richardson, Sleepy Hollow
The senior running back piled up 2,468 yards and 36 touchdowns on 236 carries. He also caught a pair of TD passes and took four kickoff, punt or interception returns to the house. Richardson set the Section 1 single-season record for rushing yards and finished with a share of the Section 1 single-season touchdown record.
