LSU leads the all-time series 4-1. Clemson's only win vs. LSU came in the 2012 Peach Bowl, as Swinney was first building Clemson into a powerhouse. That served as a statement win for the Clemson program.
They first met in 1958, when LSU beat Clemson 7-0 in the Sugar Bowl. After that, the sides didn't meet again until 1996, when LSU beat Clemson in the Peach Bowl.
