The Seattle Seahawks recently signed superstar defensive tackle Leonard Williams to a three-year, $90 million extension. Williams earned a new contract after helping the Seahawks win Super Bowl LX. Looking around the league, it still qualifies as a team-friendly contract.

The defensive tackle market has exploded this offseason. Williams is among various interior defenders who have signed lucrative extensions. Once Williams' new contract officially kicks in, he'll be earning an average annual salary of $30 million.

That'll tie Williams as the fifth-highest paid defensive tackle in the NFL. Vita Vea recently signed a new one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers worth $30 million. Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons reset the market earlier this offseason by signing a deal worth $35.2 million per season.

Philadelphia Eagles defender Jalen Carter became the highest-paid tackle in league history by inking an extension worth a whopping $38 million per year. Williams' contract qualifies as significantly more team friendly.

ESPN named Williams as the No. 1 defensive tackle in the NFL earlier this offseason. His new contract with the Seahawks ensures he'll remain in Seattle for the foreseeable future. Williams earned every penny of his new contract, but it's still a team-friendly one for the Seahawks.
