Where to watch Texas A&M football at SEC Media Days on Wednesday

Texas A&M coach Mike Elko enters his third season with equally high expectations after leading the Aggies to the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history, something former coach Jimbo Fisher never accomplished during his six-year career. However, losing to Texas at the end of the regular season and to Miami in the first round of the CFP should be seen as avoidable failures.

On Wednesday, the 2026 SEC Media Days event continues, as Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, and the Aggies will be represented by each program’s head coach and three players, as Mike Elko, quarterback Marcel Reed, linebacker Daymion Sanford, and safety Marcus Ratcliffe will speak to the media as the final team on the day.

Marcel Reed is coming off a career year after throwing for 3,169 yards and 25 touchdowns, while his 12 interceptions have been the focus this offseason while working with his private quarterback coach Jeff Christensen. Marcus Ratcliffe ended the 2025 season with a career-high 66 tackles and 3 pass deflections, while Daymion Sanford’s brutal lower-body injury can’t overshadow his career year, recording 57 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and two pass deflections.

So, what should we expect from Elko and all three players? Nothing is certain, but similar to his appearance at the Houston A&M Club on Monday, Mike Elko’s thorough preview of the 2026 season should continue on Wednesday, and expect Marcel Reed to be asked about his offseason improvement and a potential update regarding Daymion Sanford’s health status.
