The Wisconsin Badgers got arguably their biggest quarterback acquisition of the Luke Fickell era, as they landed Old Dominion signal-caller Colton Joseph in the transfer portal this offseason.
Joseph, a redshirt sophomore in 2025, threw for 2,624 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions this past season. But it was his rushing ability that really put him on the map, as Joseph ran for 1,007 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.
The Badgers viewed that as a great fit in offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes’s offense, with Joseph being the team’s top priority in the offseason.
Now, Joseph will look to elevate Wisconsin’s offense from being one of the worst in the FBS. But where will he rank among the quarterbacks in the Big Ten next season?
Is Joseph going to be a top-five quarterback in the Big Ten? There are a few notable returners, including Ohio State’s Julian Sayin, Oregon’s Dante Moore, Washington’s Demond Williams, and USC’s Jayden Maiava. Then come the newcomers, such as Indiana’s Josh Hoover, making for a competitive conference at the quarterback position.
Give us your thoughts in the poll above. Will Joseph be a top-five quarterback? Top 10? Or will he rank in the bottom half of the conference next season?
