Suddenly, the Wisconsin Badgers have the fifth-best odds to win the Big Ten.

For a team that hasn't made a bowl game in the past two seasons, it would be quite the turnaround for Luke Fickell and Co. to not only make the conference championship game, but also win it.

According to ESPN's Football Power Index, Wisconsin now has a 2.5% chance to win the conference, and while those are far from the best odds in the world, they only trail Nebraska (3.4%), Oregon (16.1%), Indiana (29.6%), and Ohio State (44.6%).

Remember, the Badgers have quite the favorable conference schedule this season. They don't have to play any of those four teams, though they still have to get through what could be three ranked opponents: UCLA, USC, and Iowa, from Oct. 17-31.

Regardless, UW is given a 98.6% chance to return to a bowl game this season, and then anything after that would be the cherry on top of an incredible 2026 campaign for the Badgers.
