Jimmy Rogers has landed the 24th commitment of the 2027 class in Charles “Chuck” Alexander Jr., a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Following a June camp in Ames, the Withrow University High School Tiger flipped from Louisville to Iowa State according to Allen Trieu.

The 6-3, 190 pound, Alexander is a four star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite. Alexander has 26 offers, per his 247Sports profile: Akron, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, James Madison, Kent State, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Maryland, Miami (OH), Northwestern, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Purdue, South Carolina, South Florida, Temple, Toledo, UMass, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.

He recorded 21 receptions his junior season for 369 yards and six touchdowns. He was named first team All-CMAC (Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference) Red Divison following the season.

Withrow went 9-3 in 2025.

In his sophomore season, he snared nine passes for 114 yards.
