In this new era of college sports, Michigan has decided to break with tradition. The Wolverines have agreed to display advertisements inside Michigan Stadium, also widely known as the Big House, for the first time in its history.

Coca-Cola, Google Gemini and Meijer will have their corporate logos displayed inside the iconic football venue, which will celebrate its 100th birthday next year.

"Michigan Stadium is one of the most iconic and cherished venues in all of sports, and we have been deeply intentional about preserving its tradition, character, and identity. As we introduce this partner program, we will do so with care and purpose, ensuring that any brand partner presence is strategic, tasteful, and aligned with the values of the University of Michigan," said Director of Athletics Warde Manuel in a statement.

The advertisements are expected to be displayed on the sides of the video board, on the wall at the base of the stands, and on the national championship sign at the southern end of the Big House.

Total compensation figures for the value of the agreement are not yet available at this time.
