Oklahoma WR Isaiah Sategna earns weekly award from SEC

The Oklahoma Sooners have built one of the best special teams units in college football. Last year, it was a huge reason why the Sooners made the College Football Playoff. In their 51-0 win over UTEP on Friday, special teams was on display once again.

Isaiah Sategna scored Oklahoma's second touchdown of the day on an 88-yard punt return. Later in the game, he added a 27-yard return. Sategna also had a 24-yard kickoff return in his only opportunity. In addition to his 139 return yards, Sategna also led the Sooners with four receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown of 34 yards.

Since coming over to Oklahoma from Arkansas, Sategna has been a weapon for the Sooners. He was an All-SEC second-team wide receiver selection in 2025, creating big plays in the passing game that helped Oklahoma beat LSU and Missouri en route to the College Football Playoff.
