Recruiting Roundup: Husky Commits Continue To Shine
SEATTLE, WA – SEPTEMBER 12: Washington (WR) #11 Jordan Clay sets up to stiff arm Utah State (CB) #2 Kye Stokes during the college football game between the Washington Huskies and Utah State Aggies on September 12, 2026, at Husky Stadium in Seattle, WA. Happy Sunday Husky fans. After a rough game yesterday I wanted to take a look at the 2027 class and some of the stellar performances that some Husky commits are having.

At running back the Huskies are bringing in a good back in 4 star running back Jeremy Adeyanju from Sandra Day O’Connor HS, AZ. So far through 3 games Adeyanju had 369 yards and 5 touchdowns on 52 carries (a 7.1 clip carry) as well 118 yards receiving on 6 receptions. Adeyanju should come in and compete for playing time right away with what he brings to the table from a talent standpoint and also a sturdy frame (he’s listed at 6’0” and around 215 pounds). When I see his clips this year I see a lot more cuts and better vision from Adeyanju and that bodes well for his future on Montlake.

Desert Edge teammates Blake Roskopf and Zerek Sidney continue to shine in their senior seasons so far through 3 games. In their last game Roskopf had 5 touchdown passes and Sidney had 9 receptions for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns in their team’s win. Through 3 games Roskopf already has 12 touchdown passes (1,064 passing yards and a 63% completion percentage), and Sidney had 18 receptions for 450 yards and 4 touchdowns through 3 games. Roskopf should have the ability to compete for playing time next year if Demond doesn’t return to Montlake and Sidney should also compete for playing time next year with some of the younger wideouts.

Another wide receiver is having a strong start to his senior season so far. 4 star wide receiver Dontay Tyson from Peoria HS has 12 receptions and 225 yards (18.8 yards a reception) through 3 games to ago along with 3 touchdowns. Tyson has very good speed and should come in to push for playing time next year as a potential deep play threat for the Huskies. The wide receiver room is pretty stacked but players like Sidney, Tre Moore, and Tyson should all compete for playing time early.

That is all for today, and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
