A clash between Big Ten foes headlines a Week 7 slate bursting with enticing matchups.
No. 4 Ohio State takes on No. 5 Indiana in a rematch of the 2025 Big Ten championship. The Buckeyes have rattled off four straight wins since their defeat to Texas, looking every bit like the heavyweight they were tipped to be heading into the year. They should get quite the test in the Hoosiers, who have maintained their perch on the Big Ten standings despite losing Fernando Mendoza.
Curt Cignetti's side doesn't look quite as daunting as it did last year — victories over Northwestern and Nebraska were unconvincing. Nevertheless, with Josh Hoover leading the line, the Hoosiers should feel optimistic. A partisan Memorial Stadium crowd should help aid in fostering that sentiment.

Fourth quarter:
3:02 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Sayin finds Smith in the end zone as Ohio State extends its lead! Didn't look the best toss at first glance — Sayin appeared to have under-thrown a streaking Smith. However, the Buckeyes wide receiver adjusted his positioning, leapt to the heavens and ripped down the unruly thing. The Buckeyes were unable to push their lead to two touchdowns, seeing their two-point conversion fall short. Nevertheless, they're cruising.

2:52 p.m.: MISSED FIELD GOAL! From bad to worse for Radinic, who sees his 55-yard effort fall short of the uprights. The former Big Ten Kicker of the Year has had a dour outing thus far, although one would have to wonder if Hoover's health forced Cignetti's hand. After all, Radicic has never sank a kick from more than 49 yards.

2:45 p.m.: It's been a challenge for Hoover thus far. Looks like he has been felled with some sort of ailment to his upper body. He is wincing with each throw. Doesn't look like he's coming out of the contest. But certainly one to look out for going forward.
2:35 p.m.: INTERCEPTION! Sayin returns the favor, tallying his second interception of the day on an errant toss towards Smith. Once more, Ferrell is the beneficiary of Sayin's inaccuracy, slipping over Smith to snag his second pick of the game.

2:30: FUMBLE! Not only were the Hoosiers unable to convert on fourth down, but they fumble on fourth. TJ Alford dumped Hoover behind the line of scrimmage, sending the ball twirling into Ohio State's grasp.

2:25 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! The Buckeyes tack another three to their advantage courtesy of a Connor Hawkins chip shot.

2:20 p.m.: FUMBLE! Hoover found Davion Chandler, who appeared on the cusp of a chunk play. However, as he raced down the field, he was brought down Jay Timmons, who sent the ball spiraling on the canvas. The ball was recovered by Buckeyes hands, putting Ohio State in ideal field position.

2:15 p.m.: Back to life here at Memorial Stadium. The Hoosiers will start the half with the ball.
End of second quarter: Ohio State 10, Indiana 7
1:54 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Sayin finds a wide-open Jackson on the check down! Smith commanded so much attention that it helped free the OSU tailback in pay dirt.

1:51 p.m.: Indiana's defense comes through again! The front four blight Bo Jackson's route to goal, leaving Ryan Day with a decision: go for it on fourth down or take the three points. Seems like the Buckeyes are going with the former.
1:45 p.m.: Ohio State's offense has found a bit of life as the first half comes to a close. The Buckeyes have embarked on a 12-play, 79-yard drive to move on the doorstep of the end zone. Can they punch it in?
1:40 p.m.: MISSED FIELD GOAL! After driving deep into Bucks territory, the Hoosiers come up empty! Nico Radicic's attempt from 32 yards spurns the uprights, leaving Indiana without any points to show for its most impressive offensive drive thus far.

1:17 p.m.: After an efficient start to action, Sayin has tailed off precipitously as of late. He has completed just 5-of-14 passes so far — only one of which came after the Buckeyes' opening drive.
1:06 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! The Hoosiers strike courtesy of a Turbo Richard trot through the tackles!

Indiana 7, Ohio State 3
1:04 p.m.: INTERCEPTION! Amare Ferrell plucks Sayin! Sayin was looking for Smith on second-and-long. However, the All-American was blanketed by Jamari Sharpe. The redshirt senior flicked Sayin's errant effort into the air, laying the runway for Ferrell to scoop up the bumbling toss. He takes his ensuing return deep into Buckeyes territory!

End of first quarter: Ohio State 3, Indiana 0
12:49 p.m.: Predictably, the Hoosiers are doubling up on Jeremiah Smith. Sayin has struggled to keep his poise with his top option blanketed, missing his mark on each of his last six throws.
12:40 p.m..: Offense has dried up a bit as the first half has wore on. A trio of punts — two for Indiana, one for Ohio State — have followed the Buckeyes' first-drive trifecta.
12:26 p.m.: Hoover misses his target on third down, nearly throwing an interception. The Buckeyes' offense will trot back onto the field looking to extend its advantage.
12:21 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! Ohio State surged down the field courtesy of a handful of chunk plays, including a pair of connections between Julian Sayin and Mason Williams. The Hoosiers bucked up at the goal line. The Buckeyes were forced to settle for a triple, instead.
Ohio State 3, Indiana 0
12:17 p.m.: And we're off! The Buckeyes start the game with the ball in their grasp!
Pre-game
12:11 p.m.: Both teams are out on the field! We're mere moments away from the start of this clash of top-five sides.
12:05 p.m.: Josh Hoover gets his first real chance to showcase his talents against an elite program in Indiana colors. The former TCU standout has produced impressive figures thus far in his Bloomington career. He'll hope to recreate those outings in a raucous Memorial Stadium atmosphere on Saturday afternoon.
