Florida State-Alabama game start delayed due to lightning

Although it at first appeared sunny at Bryant-Denny Stadium, Saturday afternoon’s game between No. 10 Alabama and Florida State will start in a lightning delay.

Just as specialists were coming on the field, it was announced the game would be delayed. No updated time has been announced but all players have left the field and returned to the locker room.

Shortly after that, it began raining fairly heavily inside the stadium.
