Montana enters the matchup unbeaten after a 35-14 victory over Utah Tech last weekend. Running back Eli Gillman powered the Grizzlies with 147 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and Montana now gets its biggest test of the young season in its first road game of 2026.
Oregon State is searching for its first win after opening with losses to Houston and Texas Tech, but the Beavers have produced one of the nation’s most productive passing attacks. Quarterback Braden Atkinson has thrown for 789 yards through two games, while Jesse Legree leads the nation with 376 receiving yards. Saturday will be the first meeting between Montana and Oregon State since 1996, when the Grizzlies won 35-14 in Corvallis.
