The Wisconsin Badgers are coming off a 54-10 blowout win over the Eastern Michigan Eagles, placing them at 2-1 heading into Big Ten play.

It was a dominant performance from the Badgers on all fronts, as they executed well offensively after a slow start, accumulating nearly 500 yards, as Colton Joseph had four touchdowns. Defensively, they bottled up after an early touchdown, allowing just three points the rest of the way while forcing three turnovers. Even the special teams unit continued to impress as Wisconsin easily got the win.

Now, the Badgers are facing the No. 13 Penn State Nittany Lions in Week 4, marking one of, if not the, biggest challenges of their season. Wisconsin will have to go on the road to Happy Valley, and they’ll face a team coming off a 55-13 win over Buffalo.

In Week 5, Wisconsin returns home to host the Michigan State Spartans. Both teams have played similar opponents so far this year, facing Notre Dame and Eastern Michigan on their non-conference slates.

Wisconsin lost to Notre Dame 41-13, while beating Eastern Michigan 54-10. Michigan State, on the other hand, lost to the Irish 27-10 on the road this past week, while beating the Eagles 35-7 in Week 2.

The Badgers have gotten a couple of night games to start the year. They opened the season with a 6:30 p.m. kick on Peacock against Notre Dame before a 6:15 p.m. kick on Big Ten Network in Week 2 against Western Illinois. After an 11:30 a.m. kick in Week 3, they’re back to an evening game, as they’ll play Penn State at 5:00 p.m. local time on Peacock on Saturday.

On Monday, the Big Ten released the kickoff times for Week 5, and the Badgers will be back to an early kick against Michigan State. Wisconsin drew an 11:30 a.m. kick on Big Ten Network, as they’ll be a part of the early slate.

The two notable games on the schedule are Ohio State at Iowa, which drew a 2:30 p.m. kick on CBS, and Washington at USC, which drew a 4:30 p.m. local kick on Peacock.
