Ohio State rises modestly in US LBM Coaches Poll after Illinois win

Ohio State didn't play a complete game on Saturday against Illinois, but it still won handily, 42-19, to run its record to 3-1 and stay on a path to some special things. And now, with another victory, the Buckeyes have risen modestly with the latest release of the US LBM Coaches Poll.
Last week, Ohio State dropped from No. 6 to No. 7 because of the elevation of Ole Miss, but since the Rebels got whitewashed by Florida, the Buckeyes have risen back to No. 6, despite their only loss coming against No. 1 Texas on the road.
The top three ahead of OSU remained the same, with Texas still at No. 1, followed by Georgia (2) and Notre Dame (3). The new No. 4 is Miami (FL), followed by Indiana (5). Behind the Buckeyes and rounding out the top ten are Alabama (7), Florida (8), BYU (9), and Texas Tech (10).
