Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Isaiah Sategna enjoyed a breakout season in 2025. The Arkansas Razorbacks transfer totaled just 632 yards and three touchdowns during his three seasons in Fayetteville.

In his first season in Norman, Sategna developed into a big-play receiver for the Sooners. He finished with 965 yards and eight touchdowns, falling just 35 yards shy of becoming Oklahoma's first 1,000-yard receiver since Marvin Mims in 2022.

Sategna finished the year third in receiving yards in the SEC, behind Mississippi State Bulldogs' Brenen Thompson and Tennessee Volunteers' Chris Brazzell. His eight touchdowns were tied for third behind Brazzell and Texas A&M Aggies' K.C. Concepcion. With all three now in the NFL, Sategna enters 2026 as the SEC's leading returning receiver.

Athlon Sports' Steve Lassan believes Sategna will build on that momentum and lead the SEC in receiving yards this season, even while praising Texas Longhorns' Cam Coleman.

"I went with Sategna at Oklahoma," Lassan said on 'That SEC Podcast.' "… I think Cam Coleman might lead the SEC in touchdown catches. I think the yardage might be spread around. Sategna and Mateer built a nice connection last year. They did bring in Trell Harris and Parker Livingstone, but I think there's a good chance that Sategna just builds on what he did last year, and a lot of these receivers are kind of clustered at the top of the conference for number one in receiving yards."

If Sategna can take another step forward and become Oklahoma's first 1,000-yard receiver in four seasons, it would provide a major boost for an offense looking to make significant strides in Year 2 under Ben Arbuckle.

Sategna has already established himself as one of the SEC's top receivers, but another jump would elevate both his profile and Oklahoma's offense. With an established connection with Mateer and a scheme expected to be more comfortable in its second season under Arbuckle, the opportunity is there for Sategna to post career-best numbers.

If he reaches the 1,000-yard mark while leading the conference in receiving, the Sooners' passing attack could become one of the most dangerous units in the SEC.
