Oklahoma football general manager Jim Nagy has received a new contract.
The OU Board of Regents approved the deal during its Tuesday meeting. Nagy's contract includes a raise and now extends through 2030.
Nagy, who has the Sooners' 2027 recruiting class ranked in the top five, will now earn $1 million this year while his average annual salary will increase by $100,000 each year. His average annual salary went up from $850,000 to $1.15 million.
The total value of Nagy's new deal is $4.6 million. His original deal spanned three years with a total of $2.55 million.
The Sooners' GM has revolutionized how the program evaluates, recruits and signs players since being hired in spring 2025. He's one of the most respected college GM's in the country and has an extensive NFL scouting background.
Many believe Nagy, the former director of the Senior Bowl, will one day be hired as an NFL GM.
