LSU head coach Lane Kiffin has been the center of attention in college football over the past few weeks.

He flirted with adding former professional players to the LSU roster before deciding against it. He hasn’t been afraid to speak his mind, even when it’s rubbed people the wrong way.

ESPN’s Paul Finebaum is one person who hasn’t liked what Kiffin’s had to say lately. In a recent interview with WDSU in New Orleans, he lashed out at Kiffin, saying no one outside of Louisiana likes him.

“He has blinked twice in the last two weeks,” Finebaum said. “Last week and then this week again. He’s having fun with it. He thinks this is entertaining. Maybe I’m too serious about following rules, but I don’t find any humor in Lane Kiffin. I don’t know anybody outside of Louisiana who does.”

Even if Kiffin wins more games, it will probably not change Finebaum’s opinion of him.

Kiffin won his first game as LSU head coach last Saturday against Clemson. LSU was up 31-3 at the half before scoring 20 more points in the second half, winning 51-10.

Kiffin will try to start his LSU tenure with a 2-0 record when the program hosts Louisiana Tech this Saturday. It comes one week before LSU’s highly anticipated trip to Oxford to play Ole Miss.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
