SEC Network college football expert Cole Cubelic predicted who he thinks will win the SEC championship following the conclusion of SEC media days. Cubelic, a former Auburn Tigers offensive lineman, predicts that the Georgia Bulldogs will win the 2026 SEC championship.
"They (Georgia) will do it (win the SEC championship) again this year," Cubelic said. "They will be able to inflict harm on their opponents, physically, because how they're going to do it. They have a veteran quarterback that's a dual-threat. They have the best tight end room in college football. I think they have a couple of stars that are waiting to breakout on the defensive side."
Cubelic thinks Georgia's offensive line has a lot of talent and thinks if Georgia tackle Earnest Greene can be healthy and playing like he did two years ago, then Georgia will have the nation's best offensive line.
Four SEC Network analysts: Alyssa Lang, Roman Harper, Chris Doering and Cubelic all agree that the path to the SEC title still runs through Georgia.
"Everyone is talking Texas, but they haven't beaten them (Georgia) in the last two years that they've played them," Doering said.
The Bulldogs were the media's pick to win the SEC championship. Georgia is expected to play the Texas Longhorns, who are the media's second-most popular SEC title pick.
