Social media reacts to Jeremiah Smith and his record-breaking day

It was a record-setting day for Jeremiah Smith. After becoming the all-time receptions leader at Ohio State last week against Illinois, Smith broke two more records Saturday afternoon at Iowa. He is now the all-time leader in receptions and receiving touchdowns, passing Chris Olave (touchdowns) and Emeka Egbuka (receptions). Not only is he rewriting the Buckeye record books, but he's also putting together quite a season; some might say a Heisman-worthy season.
Not only is Smith setting records at Ohio State, but he also has his sights set on some Big Ten records. He is only 248 yards away from breaking the conference record for most receiving yards (John Standeford, Purdue) and is only four touchdowns away from owning the record there as well (Braylon Edwards, Michigan).
We may never see another receiver like Jeremiah Smith in our lifetime, and people are starting to realize it. Fans, media, and former Ohio State greats are taking time to congratulate Smith and share their thoughts on the greatness we are witnessing. Let's take a look at some of the best social media reactions to Jeremiah Smith's performance.

Dominant since day one at Ohio State
Jeremiah Smith is one of the greatest college football players I’ve ever witnessed. We’re talking peak Cam Newton or Reggie Bush he’s that good, but the difference is he’s been this dominant since day one
