Yes, you are reading this correctly. Orgeron has finalized a deal to return to LSU to join Lane Kiffin's football staff, per ESPN's Pete Thamel. He will be a "special assistant to recruiting and defense," per CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz.
The 2019 title-winning Tigers coach is returning to the school in an assistant role, loading up Kiffin's LSU staff even more so than previously expected.
Somehow, Ed Orgeron has returned. This is unreal. How? How on Earth has Orgeron returned? We imagine there will be celebrations in Baton Rouge at the news of Orgeron's return. He's an LSU legend, after all!
