Texas A&M Aggies Football Game Time vs. Arkansas Set for Oct. 3

Texas A&M will look to bounce back after taking the steepest fall in the AP Top 25 rankings from No. 9 to 23 following the loss to Kentucky over the weekend.
SEC play continues as the Aggies visit Lane Kiffin and No. 10 LSU in Death Valley next week. The Tigers are coming off a loss to the new No. 4 Ole Miss, Kiffin's former team.
We now know when the Ags will return home for the next conference game on Oct. 3.
Texas A&M will host Arkansas with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. at Kyle Field.
The game will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.

The Aggies have dominated the series with the Razorbacks in recent years, especially in College Station. Texas A&M has won its last three matchups with Arkansas at home, each by double-digit margins.
Overall, the Aggies have beaten the Razorbacks in five straight head-to-heads and is 9-1 in the last 10 editions of the rivalry.
Last season was one of the highest-scoring duals between the two programs. Texas A&M edged out Arkansas 45-42 in Fayetteville on Oct. 18. Marcel Reed threw for 280 yards on 23 of 32 passing with three touchdowns and no turnovers. Reed also teamed up with EJ Smith and Reuben Owens III to account for a chunk of the 217 rushing yards for the Aggies.
Arkansas is coming off back-to-back losses to ranked opponents since winning its season-opener over North Alabama. The Razorbacks fell to No. 20 Utah, 43-10 on Sept. 12, and to No. 2 Georgia this past weekend, 45-17.
Arkansas stays home this week to host Tulsa at 7 p.m. CT following the blowout loss to the Bulldogs.
As for the Aggies, head coach Mike Elko is beginning the next game week by taking accountability for the ugly performance against the Wildcats to begin SEC play.
"Hats off to Kentucky. They came in here, and they beat our a**," Elko told reporters. "Not good enough for us on any level — coaching, playing, performing, physicality, anything. And so, it’s on me. I own it. It’s my program. I’m in charge of it, and we have to get it fixed."

The Texas A&M coach also made it clear that he was not interested in trying to find positives from the performance. Elko said there was "not an ounce of a positive" to take from the game, while acknowledging that Kentucky deserved full credit for the way they played.
The loss exposed problems on both sides of the football. Texas A&M struggled to consistently move the ball, while the defense surrendered four touchdowns on Kentucky’s first five drives of the second half. The Aggies also had difficulty stopping the Wildcats’ rushing attack as the game slipped away.
Rather than placing the blame on individual players, Elko emphasized that the entire program needed to respond.
"Man up," Elko said when discussing his message to the team. "You figure out what you are about during adversity. Everybody will quit on us. That’s how this thing works. It’s never been about everybody. It’s about people inside that locker room."
