After blowing the doors off of Illinois last week in the 'Shoe, Ohio State now heads to Iowa to play in a very tough environment, and head coach Ryan Day knows it. It won't be easy to beat a ranked Hawkeyes team that just polished off a last-second win over Michigan in Ann Arbor, and the Buckeyes will have to be at their very best.

After losing to Texas by a point in Week 2, Ohio State can't really afford to drop another one and expect to get the benefit of the doubt as things get longer in the tooth on the season.

Day met with the media in Columbus on Tuesday to reflect on the season so far, but mainly to discuss and preview the game this Saturday against Iowa, and it was clear he had a ton of respect for the Hawkeye program. We've got the entire Ryan Day press conference thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel if you'd like to get caught up on what Day said.

Day touched on what makes Jeremiah Smith so good in a program that's seen so many elite receivers, the challenge of playing in the road environment at Iowa, where some of the younger guys are in being ready to handle the type of scene that will occur Saturday, and much more.

We'll have more as we head into the weekend, when Ohio State and Iowa are scheduled to kick things off at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
