WR target to visit Florida State for SMU game

Florida State already had an extensive list of visitors for their game against the SMU Mustangs. Now, it just got even longer as 2028 three-star wide receiver Seven Rashad announced on social media that he would be in attendance.

"I will be at the FSU vs SMU game day.," Rashad said.

This will be Rashad's second game visit to see FSU. The first came last October when the Seminoles played the Pittsburgh Panthers. That came two months after he committed to the Purdue Boilermakers. However, in April, Rashad decommitted and re-opened his recruitment, and a plethora of offers came in as a result.

Programs such as the Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels, South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers, Colorado Buffaloes, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and the Virginia Tech Hokies would extend offers to Rashad. Florida State added their name to the list in July, which came a month after he visited for their Elite Camp on June 21.

The 6-foot-6, 195-pounder played his freshman year at Mountain View in Lawrence, Georgia. He had a productive season with 29 receptions for 517 yards and four touchdowns. He transferred to Buford High School for his sophomore year. Although he on only hauled in five passes for 64 yards, four of them went for touchdowns as he helped Buford go 15-0 and when Georgia's Class 6A state title.

Rashad is the No. 521 recruit in the country and the No. 73 wide receiver in 247Sports composite rankings. He's listed as the No. 61 prospect in the state of Georgia.

FSU has a chance to thoroughly impress Rashad with not only a great visit but a huge win.
