Game time set for Wisconsin football vs. Michigan State Oct. 3

MADISON – Wisconsin will kick off Homecoming weekend early.

The Big Ten announced Sept. 21 that the Badgers will play Michigan State at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 3. The matchup will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

The game not only marks Homecoming but also the conference home opener for UW. The Badgers have won four straight games at Camp Randall Stadium.

The matchup will be the first between the programs since 2022 when Wisconsin lost 34-28 in overtime in East Lansing, Michigan. The Badgers have won three of the last five meetings, but these programs don’t play often. This game will be just the 11^th in the series in the past 20 years.
