Mifflinburg's Cody Botts and Hughesville's Howard Rainey will lead the South and North football teams at the upcoming District 4 UPMC North-South All-Star game.

Botts will be the head coach of the South team while Rainey will lead the North.

This year's game is set for 7 p.m., Friday, June 19, at Milton's Alumni Field.

At halftime, the Coaches Association's Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be enshrined.

Botts began his coaching career at Lewisburg in 2020 as an assistant offensive line coach, then moved to Susquehanna University in the 2021 season, coaching offensive line and tight ends.

Botts returned to his alma mater in 2022 and coached the offensive line and was the run game coordinator under former head coach Jason Dressler for two years before taking over the helm in 2024.

In two seasons, Botts has compiled a 14-10 record, highlighted by a 10-3 season in 2025 with a District 4 Class 3A championship.

Joining Botts on the South coaching staff will be Mifflinburg's Anthony Threet, Seth Hicks, Jeff Wagner and Tom Parfitt, along with Milton's Jake Barrett and Isaiah Hicks.

Rainey, who is a long-time assistant coach dating back to 1991 at Jersey Shore, took over as head coach in Hughesville in 2021.

Tickets can be purchased on the day of the game for $10.
