The Wisconsin Badgers can't get ahead of themselves as their Week 5 showdown against Michigan State could be a close game.
This Badgers team doesn't have a great track record of blowing teams out with head coach Luke Fickell.
When looking at his FBS Week 5 SP+ predictions, ESPN's Bill Connelly believes Wisconsin will get the job done, but it'll be closer than some expect.
Connelly gives the Badgers just a 72% chance to win this game, and that's even higher than ESPN Analytics, which is sitting at 67.3%.
UW opened as double-digit favorites, so that's important to note as Connelly's SP+ model believes the final score in this game will be 28-19.
Wisconsin's projected margin of victory is 9.1 points, so that hovers right around the betting odds that came out following the Badgers win at Penn State.
