Georgia All-American DB leaves Oklahoma game with injury

Georgia Bulldogs star cornerback Ellis Robinson, a former five-star recruit, went down during the second half against the Oklahoma Sooners. Robinson is a first-team All-SEC selection, an All-American and is Georgia's top cornerback. If he's forced to miss anytime, then it would be a significant loss for the Georgia defense.

Georgia did not need Robinson to return to the game with the Bulldogs holding a 20-plus point second half lead. Robinson was able to walk off the field under his own power. In Robinson's absence, Georgia played USC Trojans transfer Braylon Conley snaps at outside cornerback opposite of Demello Jones with Robinson out.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart is expected to update Robinson's status in his postgame press conference. However, his update could be fairly vague, so Georgia fans may not have a true indication for Robinson's status until the SEC's availability report comes out on Wednesday night ahead of Week 5's game against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
