Week 2 of the 2026 college football season is in full swing, with an exciting slate of games on the schedule for Saturday, September 12. The marquee matchup for the day, No. 1 Ohio State vs. No. 4 Texas, will not only be must-see television, but could end up playing a major role in the Heisman Trophy race.

The game features Heisman candidates Arch Manning, Jeremiah Smith, and Julian Sayin, who are trying to chase down Miami superstar Darian Mensah.

Through two games, Mensah has thrown for completed 41-of-45 passes for 653 yards, 8 touchdowns, and no interceptions in just six quarters of action.
